The goal of Planetary Resources is to mine asteroids. This lofty goal needed a robust website which communicated the legitimacy of the team and its planned outcome. Utilizing an internal designer and Ravenna as the outside website development vendor, the new Planetary Resources website was born. This project went through full spec. wireframe, design iteration rounds and 2 rounds of development on its way to launch.
A core requirement of the project was that the public facing portion of the website be completely modularized. Ravenna built a custom module system inside of of the CMS. Control of the front end was also critical, dictating the need for site admins to have control of virtually all aspects of the site. Robust modules and highly customizable admin options drive the in-depth qualities of the site.
What Planetary Resources had to say about working with Ravenna:
“Working with Ravenna Interactive was the best choice our company could have made when deciding to build our corporate website. We wanted a fully custom, easy to use content management system, tied to a beautiful website – something even the largest of agencies would struggle to manage and execute – and Ravenna did it with ease.
The Ravenna team not only executed a flawless CMS that is easy to use, but implemented a beautiful design on the front end with optimal usability. We also needed a strategic partner who could help our small team identify issues, and solve them in the right ways. TJ and his team are not afraid to offer up new ideas, and always have YOUR best interest in mind.
They were flexible and amicable when changes arose in the schedule or scope, and rolled with the punches. They did not gouge us on cost, and ensured that we were getting the biggest bang for our buck in all regards.
It was a pleasure to work with Ravenna, and their attention to detail drove the project forward with confidence.
I am confident Ravenna can handle anything we throw their way with a smile, great execution, price and quality. ”
